Sadly, AA Lock & Key no longer provides Emergency Locksmith services.  This is due to several reasons.  The main reason we no longer offer Emergency locksmith services is because of the high level of Locksmith SCAMS.  The SCAMS have taken over our industry.  These companies spend thousands of dollars a month on internet advertising.  They know all the tricks in the book to rip people off.  A person in need of a locksmith in an emergency is Prey to these SCAMMERS.  And they will take advantage of you in an instant.  Because they operate on a different business model.  Hit them hard and fast because the customer will never call them back.  They are often very aggressive and nasty to the customers.  At AA Lock & Key we treat all of our customers with respect and kindness.  Our business is 100% referral and repeat based.  And we refuse to spend one dime on advertising.  In 38 years in business we have spent a total of less than 1000 in advertising.  We realized early on that there is only one person who makes money in advertising, and you guessed it.  It’s the advertiser.  We just do the best we can for our customers at affordable prices and build excellent working relationships with our customers.

Yes, this is no problem for a skilled locksmith. Although you would usually have keys cut from another key, if you have lost your keys or your key is severely worn – it is possible to have a key made from a lock. This can be achieved by either disassembling the lock or making an impression of the lock with a new key blank.

Absolutely. The term “keyed alike” is used by locksmiths for referring to having one key that operates all the locks in your home or workplace. The practicality of having one key to open your home or workplace over a large bunch of keys can’t be overstated.

When we “key alike” your home or workplace, we first check to see if your locks are in good condition and functioning correctly. We’ll then disassemble the keyed cylinders and replace the small internal parts, then service and lubricate the entire mechanism.

When we perform a “rekey” of your locks, we’ll re-code all the locks to new keys, so everything is keyed alike. We can even take a customers’ existing sample key, which operates one lock and key that alike to the other locks in the premises.

There is no need to change the locks on your old home when you move out of it – the new owner should do this themselves. You should, however, change the locks on your new home when you move in – and this should be a priority!
